Book and sail the Least Expensive Catamaran in the Caribbean

The Gemini Legacy 35 is proving to be a success for guests who have sailed on monohulls or chartered monohulls but would like to try the stability of a catamaran at the same price as a monohull in charter.

The Gemini Legacy 35 is based in the British Virgin Islands out of Tortola.  The rates could be as low as $2,000 per week for up to 6 – 8 guests.  Yes, that is for the entire boat.  You can have 7 days at that rate.  You will need to fuel the yacht, pay cleaning fee, and cruising taxes on top of that.   The price for 7 days all in averages to be $3,400 for a summer charter.  Summer in the Caribbean is June/July/August.

We do advise you purchase trip insurance that averages to about 7 % of total cost of charter and that would be for the entire group.

The Gemini Legacy 35 comes in 3 cabin layout.  The salon can also convert.  Many guests sail the catamaran for up to 6 – 8 guests.  You can hire a skipper or you can sail yourself if you are qualified.  The Charter Company will send you a sailing resume form for you to fill out and you can also get pre-qualified for catamaran.  But generally if you have sailed a monohull of same length you should be qualified.
